Acne vulgaris is one of the most prevalent skin disorders found in adolescent age group around world and manifest itself as comedones (comedonal acne), papulopustular (papulopustular acne) or nodules cysts (nodulo cystic acne conglobata) pitted depressed hypertrophic scars may follow all types but especially nodulocystic conglobata. It can be correlated with Yuvanpidika Ayurveda. also called Tarunyapitika&Mukhdushika.
